Non sticky sabudana khichdi recipe: The festival of Navratri is going on and people are also fasting these days. In such a situation, sago is a popular food for fruit diet. People make it in many ways like papad, khichdi, kheer etc. and include it in the fruit diet. It easily keeps the stomach full and also fills the body with energy. Things like fiber, iron, calcium, potassium are present in abundance in it, which helps in providing us nutrition throughout the day. But many people have the problem that their sago khichdi becomes very sticky. If you too are not able to make it due to this problem, then make it in the way described here.

Method of making blossom sago khichdi-
-If you want to make sago khichdi for 2 to 3 people, then take one bowl of sago. Then rinse it thoroughly with water 3 to 4 times. It would be better if you keep it in a big strainer and keep it under the tap and wash it by rubbing it well. Now dip this sago in 4 bowls of water and keep it soaked for at least 4 to 5 hours. After being washed in this way the sago will not become sticky.

-Now when you want to make it, rub the sago thoroughly, throw away water and wash it again a couple of times. Now keep it in a strainer so that all the water gets removed. Till then keep the pan on the gas and add 4 spoons of ghee. Now add cumin, peanuts and red chilli in it. Add boiled potatoes and fry it. If you want to take rock salt then add it.

-Now add sago into it and stir well. Now cover it and leave it to cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Now squeeze the juice of one lemon in it. In this way its stickiness will go away even more. In this way Sabudana Khichdi is ready.
